Indoor Netball Nationals at the Gold Coast
I had the pleasure of being the therapist for the Women's Victorian National Indoor Netball team when they played the nationals at the Gold Coast.  Weeks prior to departure, at the training sessions, I observed the musculoskeletal idiosyncrasies of each member of the team and taped ankles, knees, elbows and fingers, as a preventive measure to make sure the team made it to the nationals. Before we knew it, the time to depart had arrived. The game schedule was grueling as 2 to 3 matches had to be played each day. These were long days, dealing with the on/off court first aid issues from blisters, blood noses (non contact sport) and heat issues. Then rehabilitation of the players during the day and late in the evening in preparation for the next days matches.

Here are some things the ladies had to say.

"Elvis, Where to start...you're a legend ! Your hands are GOLD and your heart is a DIAMOND. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you, see you next year...." Kris Coach and Player of Womens Victorian Indoor Netball Team.
